I always think of Twitter as useful to keep up with news and with discussions. However, I set up a photography stream and I am really surprised at how much Twitter is being used to promote photography. How do you use Twitter (or other social media) to promote your photography? If you upload photos, how do you protect them (some sites have policies that uploading the photos means others can use them as they like).
Taking pictures is one thing, selecting the best another. I really struggle with this. How do you choose your "best shots"? Do you have a strategy, maybe fixing a percentage?
Would you invest in a mobile light studio? If so, what are the essential elements to include?
